Welcome to our Governors’ section. 

Moseley Primary School has recently reconstituted its Governing Board to create an efficient body that knows the work of the school well.

The committee structure has been adapted so that all members of the Board has the same overview of all areas of the school’s work.

Meetings happen later in the evening so that attendance levels are high and the structure of each meeting enables time for Governors to investigate an evidence trail of an issue in the school to dramatically reduce reliance on information being shared by School Leaders.

This new model has enabled Governors to better hold the school to account and to have a tangible impact on the future direction of the school.
