They host Musical Mixtures Wind Band on Tuesdays 4 – 5 pm – woodwind and brass players welcome to come along next term!
They are Music Mark School Members
Singing is a fundamental part of Moseley school Life and the children enjoy taking part in regular performances and singing assemblies.
All children sing every week in a singing assembly
The school choir performs at Young Voices every year. An opportunity to sing in one of the largest choirs in the world.
KS1 children enjoy taking part in Mornings of Music - a celebration of music provided by Coventry Music
The school put on regular performances for parents and children.
And even the staff are musical and regularly perform for the children in a staff choir and sometimes even playing instruments.
A perfect example of the brilliant music taking place at Mosley would be Year 5 performance where parents and pupils were treated to a Top of the Pops style musical history. The Year 5 pupils told about how music and culture had changed over the years and performed some of the well known Christmas classics from the different decades, with a few solo's including an appearance from Elvis himself!! Then as a surprise ending, we were treated to beautiful performance from the staff choir, including some instrumental playing, including bells, cymbals, trumpets, drums and kazoos...all learnt specially for the performance.
Music is a joy to watch as Moseley and it shows just how much all the children and staff enjoy taking part!
Well done, you are worthy winner!
