Year 5 enjoyed a day in the life of a Victorian. They chanted their tables, recited a homily, practised their best writing in ink and realised how strict their teachers can be!
Year 5 took part in pok-a-tok, a ritual ball game of the Maya. It was very competitive until they learnt that the losing team's captain would behead the winning team's captain! After that, they enjoyed some Mayan hot chocolate...the chillies made it quite to different to hot chocolate as we know it!
