Year 3
Year 3 Stone Age 2022 - 2023
Year 3 have been learning about The Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age; to kick start their topic they went back in time and experienced what life would have been like during the Stone Age. Throughout the day, the children dressed up and wore clothing from the time period, created cave paintings, imagined what it would have been like to hunt, and role played as Hunter Gathers.
Ancient Egypt
Wow, what a day! Year 3 have been extremely busy learning all about Ancient Egypt and don't they look great! Year 3 have been learning all of the interesting and gruesome ways the Egyptian's prepared a body for burial. They have been learning about the Egyptian rulers, ordering the significant dates from the time period and discovering some of the Egyptian's noteworthy inventions.
