Things to Remember: Safe Storage
Year 4 have been learning about how we can safely store our food. They have looked at where to store food in the fridge and why it is important to do so.
Pneumatics
Year 4 have been exploring the world of pneumatics and hydraulics. They have experimented and looked at different products that use these and started to design their own.
Things to Remember: Seasonality
Year 4 have been looking at seasonal food and how foods are grown and harvested in different seasons. They learnt that food often tastes better in season, is often cheaper and is better for the planet. The children have also looked at typical dishes from season to season, such as casseroles in the Winter months and food cooked on the BBQ or fresh salads when it is hotter.
