Dear Parents

As of tonight School is closed to all children other than the most vulnerable and the children of Key Workers. This is upsetting for all of us, thank you for your understanding at this time.

From Monday:
School will be operating a Childcare Club – we are calling it Triumph Club. It will open at 8:15 and close at 3:30pm. This club is for children who receive an invitation as they meet one of the Government’s criteria.

Key Worker Parents who have no childcare alternative and responded to our email by the 1pm deadline, will have received a letter to invite their child to attend. Eligible children will be sent home with (or emailed) a golden ticket for Triumph Club. Only children with a ticket will be able to attend. This care club will be staffed by a skeleton staff and the children will not be doing lessons.

Free School Meals children’s parents have received a text and email to say that they can come to school at 12:15 to collect a packed lunch from the school office.

All other children are to remain at home. All families need to practise Social Distancing and must not be meeting up with other families. The reason schools are closed is to reduce the amount of social contact and limit the spread of the virus.

School has set work for children who have to stay at home. This work can be accessed from the school website: moseleyprimaryschool.co.uk then by visiting the children’s tab – home learning – year group. In addition to this, children can all use Seesaw to communicate directly with their teacher. Teachers will use Seesaw to set tasks and activities.

It has been a really challenging time for school and I cannot tell how amazing the staff have been! Parents also have been very supportive and the kind messages that we have received have been truly appreciated – thank you.
