Dear Parents of children in G1,
I am writing to tell you that from Monday there will be a change of staffing for the class.
Miss Sherriff is going to be taking over the role of Safeguarding Lead as well as SENCo. This means that she will not have the capacity to also teach G1 in the afternoons. From Monday Mr Rudge will move to partner Miss Dronfield as the other Yr5 teacher.
As you know, all three of these teachers are excellent and will do all they can to enable your children to make as much progress as possible. Both Mr Rudge and Miss Dronfield have a wealth of experience of teaching our oldest children and recently made an excellent pairing when working together to cover maternity leave in Year 4.
We are very pleased that Miss Sherriff will be taking such a key role in protecting our most vulnerable children and wish her all the very best in her new position.
